Just over a week ago VLC media player had been submitted to Apple App Store as an iPad app, and the good news is that now it has been approved and available as a Free VLC Player for iPad app on iTunes. Now you can playback all kinds of video formats directly on your iPad, which saves your time and effort to convert the video into an appropriate Apple player format.

Free iPad VLC Player comes with a support that can play nearly all formats of videos and all these codecs are built-in into the player. It can even play damaged, missing or broken pieces of video and audio which gives us the idea of what is in the piece of missing video.
We are also hearing that the same developers of iPad are also working on making an iPhone version, but no schedule has yet been announced.
Free VLC Player for iPad is now available download from the iTunes App Store. Free VLC Player for iPad will go right into my regularly used apps and will be a great non-iTunes video playing tool.
